Substantive Experience:

  • Construction law:  equivalent of in-house counsel for core group of about 20 small to mid-size general contractors.  Full range of tasks performed from drafting contracts to multi-party arbitration (both AAA and CCP § 1282 format).

  • General Corporate law:  full range of services from transactional to mediation/arbitration and litigation on behalf of various businesses including formation of corporations and limited and general partnerships, buy-sell agreements, business dissolutions and all transactional matters.

  • Medical law:  represent medical clinics, physicians, chiropractors and other healthcare professionals.  Advise clients on all business matters including leases, contracts and employment issues.

  • Administrative law:  advise and represent clients before various state and federal regulatory agencies and boards including the Medical Board of California, the California Board of Behavior Science Examiners, the California Department of Health, and the Drug Enforcement Agency.


Management Experience:

  • Responsible for management of a full service general law practice of four attorneys and a staff of six, including paralegals, legal assistants, secretaries, and clerks.

  • Established administrative systems and office set-up as well as functional fluency in personal computer operation and computer accounting.
